Utila Lighting

This custom designed lighting series consists of a wall sconce, floor lamp, and table lamp. The inspiration for the wall sconce was both the underutilized and dark corners in most spaces, as well as the spider webs which too often occupy them. Being modeled after the sail of a ship, the floor lamp has a high degree of contrast with its stone base. Each piece is fabricated from welded steel pencil rod and standard lamp shade material, which is wired to the frames adding a unique method of attachment.
