Christ the King Church Chair 2

These two chairs where part of a renovation and addition project at Christ the King catholic church in Evergreen, Colorado. After a portion of the church was demolished, the client decided to use the reclaimed douglas fir timbers for the construction of new sanctuary furnishings. Stained alder was used for the panel work throughout this piece. Joinery includes hand carved blind mortise and tenons, half laps, and dozens of wood dowel connections.
